Unicredit names new chairman

Milan-based UniCredit S.p.A. has named Giuseppe Vita, currently chairman of Allianz Italy, as its new chairman. The nomination will go to a shareholder vote on 11th May. UniCredit operates across 22 European countries and has representative offices in 50 other markets. The bank has around 9,500 branches and over 160,000 staff.
