The Nationally Certified Western Open Fiddle Championships is held in Red Bluff California every year in October attracting Fiddlers from CA, OR, ID, WA, NV. Central Oregon Fiddle Champion Roland White attended the 2010 Contest and Placed 2nd in the Senior Division, reports Dolphin Graphics, Bend Oregon.
Roland White Oregon State's current Senior Fiddle Champion attended the 2010 Contest and placed 2nd in the 55 to 69 year old Senior Division. The Western Open Fiddle Contest was established in 1982 in Redding California and in 1996 was moved to Red Bluff where it has continued the Fiddling Tradition...
