Global investment bank Nomura has announced the appointment of Zhiwei Zhang as chief economist of China. Zhang will lead an economist team three strong, covering China and reporting directly to Chief Economist and co-head of Fixed-Income Research, Asia ex-Japan, Rob Subbaraman and Head of Equity Research, Asia ex-Japan, Stewart Callaghan.
