"As the American Academy of Ophthalmology designates January as Glaucoma Awareness Month, we are really pleased to note that advances in technology, diagnosis and treatment along with a greater patient awareness and education level regarding glaucoma risks, have greatly reduced the risk of vision loss and blindness from glaucoma," commented Bernard Milstein, M.D. of The Eye Clinic of Texas.
