The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has today published a feedback statement summarising responses to its Product Intervention discussion paper, published in January. The paper proposed a new direction for retail financial services regulation, moving away from an approach largely focused on point-of-sale, to one that regulates a product’s life cycle, including design, development and management.
