FSA censures Pentecostal Credit Union

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has publicly censured The Pentecostal Credit Union (TPCU) for direct contravention of credit union rules. According to the regulator, London-based TPCU issued loans worth £1.2 million under its members’ names but channelled the money to the church organisation despite credit union rules stating that only individual members can be borrowers.
