Nigerian financial institution Diamond Bank Plc has reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2011. Its operating profits increased by 28.6% from N4.9bn to N6.3bn, with net interest income rising by 20.6% from N10.2bn in Q1 2010 to N12.3bn in the most recent quarter.
