Commerzbank reports rising Q1 profits

Commerzbank has reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2011, including an operating profit of €1.14bn. This is a substantial improvement on the €771m made in the corresponding period last year, and almost equals the annual profitability of 2010, (€1.4bn).
